First Visit?

Making Your First Visit?

We’re so glad you’ve decided to visit us! You’ll find a list of commonly asked questions below. Please don’t hesitate to send us a message or give us a call at (972)287-2284 to let us know you’re coming!

How do I get there?

We are located at 108 East Farmers Road (between Hwy 175 and Kaufman Street) in Seagoville.

Where should I park?

We have parking on two sides of the auditorium. You may park on either side. If you have children in the nursery, you will want to park in front of the Activity Building.

What should I wear?

First Baptist has a “relaxed” atmosphere. You will see some dressed up; some dressed in jeans and polo shirts. Women normally wear dresses or slacks.

Where do my kids go?

During the Sunday School hour the nursery is in our Activities Building. Our children have newly remodeled wing in the activity building and teens meet upstairs in the main auditorium building. At the present time our adults meet in both the Activities Building and the auditorium building. We will help you find the class you would like to attend. All children in the nursery check-in with a secure sticker system; the check-in process is quick and easy, and you’re given a secure code where only you can pick them up. In addition, all teachers and caregivers undergo a thorough background check before they’re allowed to serve with children. Your kids are safe at First Baptist!

What is a Sunday service like?

Our Sunday service offers live worship and Biblical teaching that is relevant to every day life. Each service lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes.
